Outside the operating room, movement is how I reset and recharge.
Rock climbing challenges me to stay focused, trust my strength, and commit to the next move—lessons that extend well beyond the wall.
Bharatanatyam (an Indian dance style) grounds me in rhythm, discipline, and expression, reminding me that internal strength can be both powerful and graceful.
Badminton brings pure joy—fast, energizing, and refreshingly playful.
Hiking with my husband is where I truly unplug. Walking side by side in nature, sharing quiet conversations, and taking in open spaces helps restore perspective and balance.
And then there’s my dog—my daily reminder to slow down, be present, and appreciate the simple moments. These passions help me show up fully- both in and beyond anesthesia.
