Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join the Society for Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care (SNACC)?

Complete the Online Application under Membership in the main navigation of the SNACC website.

Is it possible to join SNACC and pay for the membership online or do I need to email the completed membership form?

The most convenient and secure method is to complete the online application and submit your dues online. An automatic payment option may be activated for the convenience of renewing your membership each year.

Where do I pay for my membership?

Membership dues are collected at the time your online application is submitted. An automatic payment option may be activated for the convenience of renewing your membership each year.

How do I renew my membership?

On the SNACC website, click Renew Dues under Membership in the main navigation of the SNACC website. Enter your login credentials and follow the prompts to complete the renewal process. An automatic payment option may be activated for your convenience.

How will I know my membership has expired?

The SNACC membership year is January 1 – December 31. You will begin receiving email notifications in November each year to renew your membership for the following year. Your membership must be renewed before the end of January each year to avoid being considered expired and being inactivated. An automatic payment option may be activated for your convenience.

I have multiple work and personal emails. Can SNACC send membership communications to more than one email address?

While we can maintain multiple email addresses on your database record, only one email address can be associated with your membership. It also serves as your username for your login credentials. It is also the only email address to which SNACC communications are sent.

I am a member of SNACC, but I do not receive SNACC emails and other correspondence. What is required to receive this information?

Please confirm the email address associated with your membership by emailing info@snacc.org. Please also check your spam filters. If a hospital or university email address is associated with your membership, please be sure emails sent by SNACC are on the hospital or university’s approved list. Institutions tend to have extremely secure firewalls that prevent SNACC emails from getting through.

How do I post a job opportunity on the SNACC website?

Job postings can be purchased and submitted at Job Opportunities under About in the main navigation of the SNACC website. Postings remain on the site for 90 days and can be promoted with a broadcast email sent by SNACC. The fee structure for job postings is:
