It is a privilege to share that Chanhung Lee MD has been appointed as the new Communications Director for SNACC. Dr Lee, a SNACC Director-at-Large and Professor of Anesthesia at UCSF, brings her experience from leading the Neuroanesthesia Program Relations Committee for ICPNT to directing communications for SNACC.
Dr Lee will be supported by Dr Benish Fatima MD, who is the newly appointed Director for SNACC eBlasts. Dr Fatima is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Mayo Clinic Rochester. Dr Kathryn Rosenblatt MD is continuing as the SNACC Social Media Director and Dr Ib Adedugbe MD as the SNACC Website Director. I am confident that this team will continue to innovate and enhance our communications strategy, ensuring that we, as members, are kept up-to-date and involved with everything that is happening at SNACC.
The Communications Committee would like to highlight some new areas of the SNACC website, that are available to SNACC members:
ICPNT Program Directors Forum: The SNACC Discussion Forums now includes a dedicated area for Neuroanesthesiology Fellowship Program Directors to share their experience and discuss challenges related for neuroanesthesiology training.
Education Corner: The Education Corner now includes the External Ventricular Drain safety campaign and Simulation Scenarios to support education and training

Lastly, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the departing committee members, Dr A Kofke MD and Dr W Gross MD, for their invaluable contributions and support for the communications committee. I would also like to thank all committee members for their dedication and contributions over the past year. Your support and time is hugely appreciated. We always welcome new members and would also like to encourage anesthetists-in-training to join our team.
