The Canadian Association for Medical Education (CAME) Certificate of Merit Awards recognizes people who have made valuable contributions to medical education across Canada. Melinda Davis, MD is the recipient of CAME Certificate of Merit Award for the year 2021.
Dr. Melinda works as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine, and as Director, Anesthesiology Residency Program at Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, Canada. Dr. Davis is an important part of medical education programs both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and is the Director of the Successful Master Teacher program.

To promote the connection between education and superior patient care, the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) and the Society for Education in Anesthesia (SEA) honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement and sharing of anesthesiology knowledge.
Shobana Rajan, MD is one of the recipients of this year’s prestigious ASA-SEA Distinguished Educator in Anesthesiology award. Dr. Rajan is the chair of the SNACC Trainee Engagement Committee and a member of the SNACC Board of Directors.
