We are pleased to share several updates (Figure 1) from the Journal of Neurosurgical Anesthesiology with the SNACC membership!

  • Online access: Starting in January 2020, all SNACC memberships will include online access to the Journal of Neurosurgical Anesthesiology (print subscriptions are still available at additional cost if requested). This new feature will provide easy and rapid access to valuable JNA content for all our members.

  • Podcasts: JNA has a new initiative to create podcasts about relevant and important review articles of academic interest. These podcasts will be produced by the Trainee Engagement Committee of SNACC and JNA websites and the first podcast ( Perspectives on Dexmedetomidine Use for Neurosurgical Patients [J Neurosurg Anesthesiol 2019;31:366-377] narrated by Dr. Deepali Garg) has already been posted  under the Fellows and Residents tab, and a new pull-down created to read ‘JNA Podcast’ on the SNACC websites. These podcasts are an efficient way to review cutting edge material on the go and we expect this to be a huge success.

  • JNA-SNACC Twitter Journal Club: #NeuroAnesJC will take place January 13, 2020. Please consider joining the conversation and follow JNA (@JNeurosurgAnes) and SNACC (@SNACCNeuro).
