The academic collaboration between the Society for Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care (SNACC) and the Indian Society of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care (ISNACC) is not a new phenomenon. The SNACC meetings remain an important content of discussion at different ISNACC forums. Dr. Deepak Sharma (Seattle, USA), who is also a life-member of ISNACC, was first to propose a regular and theme-based SNACC Panel under the aegis of the 2012 ISNACC Annual Conference at Bhopal. It was formally proposed and approved in the subsequent ISNACC Executive Body Meeting held at Varanasi on 1st September 2012. A memorandum of understanding (MOU) in this regard was prepared after consulting with Dr. Martin Smith, then President of SNACC. It was placed before the SNACC board of directors for formal approval. The MOU suggested nomination of three to four speakers who would represent SNACC at ISNACC meetings. The speakers should be authorities on the subject/theme, and the theme has to be decided by them. The theme of SNACC panel could either be the same or different from the ISNACC meeting theme. ISNACC (Organizers) would waive off the registration fees for the panellists and provide local hospitality during the meeting.

Chronology of SNACC panels during ISNACC annual conferences are enumerated, as below:
