The Neuroanesthesia Review Fun Quiz was held during the SNACC Annual Meeting on Friday afternoon in Boston. This was for residents, fellows in neuroanesthesia and anyone wanting to review neuroanesthesia in a fun way.
The first of three sections was a set of questions pertaining to cerebral pathophysiology and cerebral monitoring, the second part consisted of questions pertaining to anesthetic management for a craniotomy and the third section was questions about anesthesia for spine surgery.
We gave away prizes for the winner of each section in the form of a book (Cottrell and Young’s handbooks) donated by Dr. Chanannait Paisansathan and the book “Complications in Neuroanesthesia” donated by Dr. Hemanshu Prabhakar.
This Fun Quiz of 45 minutes duration followed by a 15 minute review was well received by all. It was a full house and we had to move to a bigger hall to accommodate everyone. We look forward to conducting this again next year. We also welcome any suggestions and feedback from those who attended this session.
