The Malaysian Society of Neuroanaesthesiology & Neurocritical Care (MSNACC) received continuous supports from its affiliated societies: The Society of Neuroscience in Anesthesiology & Critical Care (SNACC), the NeuroAnaesthesia & Critical Care Society (NACCS), UK and the Asian Society for Neuroanaesthesia & Critical Care (ASNACC) during our promotional activities at the recent 17th Asian Australasian Congress of Anaesthesiologists 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.
It was a joy to reconnect with our valued friends from the SNACC, ASNACC, NACCS and Thai Society of Neuroanesthesia (TSNA) who stopped by the booth of the 9th Congress of Asian Society for Neuroanesthesia & Critical Care 2027. Your presence and encouragement mean so much to the MSNACC as we look ahead to welcoming everyone to Kuching, Malaysia in 2027.
The team of the ASNACC 2027 Malaysia, also brought a touch of Sarawak (Borneo) to the Land of Smiles! Our booth visitors enjoyed a live sape (a traditional musical instrument of Sarawak) performance and stood a chance to win complimentary registrations for the ASNACC 2027 meeting, beautiful crafts from the Penan Women Project and exclusive operating theatre caps made with traditional Sarawakian fabrics—flown in all the way from Kuching!
Since its inception, the biennial congresses of the ASNACC have brought together the brightest minds and leading experts in the field. Over the years, the congress has travelled across Asia- Beijing, China (2008); New Delhi, India (2011); Bali, Indonesia (2013); Busan, Republic of Korea (2015); Singapore (2017); Nara, Japan (2019); Manila, Philippines (2023); and Bangkok, Thailand (2025).
With the theme ‘Neuro Synergy: Together Towards Excellence in Care, the ASNACC 2027, Malaysia meeting underscores the power of collaboration and knowledge sharing in advancing perioperative neuroscience. Across four dynamic days, we will explore pioneering ideas, showcase the latest research and strengthen global partnerships within the neuroanaesthesia and neurocritical care community.
