Dear SNACC Newsletter Readers,

As an international society, SNACC is proud to represent and support a vibrant global community of neuroanesthesiologists and neurocritical care specialists. Our international members’ contributions continue to advance patient care, research, and education in our field. In this issue, we celebrate that global spirit.

The Global Section features summaries of recent scientific meetings held in partnership with SNACC or with contributions from SNACC-affiliated speakers, reflecting the collaborative strength of our society. In our Rendezvous with the Editor-in-Chief feature, we are delighted to spotlight Dr. Finn Radtke, Head of Research at the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Zealand University Hospital and the University of Southern Denmark.

You will also find a meaningful update from the SNACC Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, which has recently adopted the new name “CORE,” reflecting its evolving mission and values.

This issue includes high-quality educational content developed by SNACC members, including an EEG Signature(s) article and a Challenging Case exploring the intraoperative management of venous air embolism. We are also pleased to highlight recent scientific work featured in the Journal of Neurosurgical Anesthesiology. One article features JNA Editor’s Picks, while the other highlights articles that may be of particular interest to fellows and trainees.
