Editor’s Message

Dear SNACC Newsletter Readers,

Welcome to the Fall 2025 issue of the SNACC Newsletter! I hope you enjoy everything this edition has to offer.

Following the successful Annual SNACC Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, this issue features a summary of the meeting’s highlights, along with post-meeting updates from several SNACC committees and the ICPNT. In the educational section, Drs. Andraous and Nada present an excellent Medically Challenging Case on the management of a patient with acute cervical spine injury.

The SNACC Newsletter continues to proudly showcase contributions from our international members, partner organizations, and readers. In this issue’s Rendez-vous, Dr. Maria Claudia Niño, Head of Neuroanesthesia at Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation University Hospital, shares her insights on neuroanesthesia education and mentorship. Dr. Geraldine Jose, Global Subcommittee Chair, reports on recent collaborations between SNACC and both the Asian Society for Neuroanaesthesia and Critical Care and the German Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine. The Indian Society of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care invites SNACC members to its upcoming annual meeting in January 2026. Dr. Shafiq highlights how his involvement in SNACC committees has supported the development of Pakistan’s first neuroanesthesia fellowship.

Thank you to all our contributors, committee members, editors, and translators for their continued dedication to providing Newsletter readers with high-quality, engaging content.

Warm regards,
