This quarter, several strategic updates have been implemented to enhance the Society’s digital presence, streamline navigation, and strengthen member engagement across platforms.
Website Updates

Key improvements were made to optimize clarity and usability. We implemented changes to incorporate updated content. All social media handles including X, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn were added to the Society for Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care (SNACC) webpage. The scrolling banner has been refined to feature only major highlights including SNACC Annual Meeting, International Council on Perioperative Neuroscience Training (ICPNT) webinars, fellowship programs, and the podcast with clearer indicators for navigation. The “Meetings tab” has been renamed as “Events” and all the past meetings and events are updated.
Similarly, the “Article of the Month link” is now renamed as “Featured Articles”, with updated descriptive text. All educational content is consolidated under the Education tab for improved accessibility. Also, the new EEG course will become available soon for members to access under the Education tab. The Quick Resources section now includes Neuroanesthesia classroom, SNACC/ICPNT fellowship directory, Journal of Neurosurgical Anesthesiology and ICPNT links with revised text and updated links.
We welcome any other feedback that SNACC members want to give and would like to request that required updates to the webpage be sent to all communication team members. We will include the new updates on the webpage bi-monthly or monthly unless there are time-sensitive new changes that need to be added to the webpage.

SNACC welcomes Eric Deloso as the incoming Social Media Subcommittee Chair. His expertise and enthusiasm will support the continued growth of our digital outreach efforts. He will handle all the social media platforms in close coordination with Jenny Bogda.
We would also like to express our deep gratitude to Kate Rosenblatt, whose exceptional work in organizing and delivering detailed monthly social media communications has greatly contributed to the visibility and professionalism of our platforms.
The social media team is now planning to invite “Social Media Ambassadors” to help with coverage of SNACC Annual meeting on different social media platforms. Our hope is to have real‑time social media updates, daily session highlights, and speaker spotlights across different social media platforms. This approach will ensure comprehensive visibility for scientific content, society initiatives, and member activities throughout the meeting.
E-blast announcements

Monthly e-blasts are sent to all SNACC members with updated news about SNACC and other Neuroanesthesia related information. It is usually sent on the 2nd Monday of the month with the exception of holidays that fall on Mondays. We can add content to e-blast on request from SNACC members. So please send us any content that needs to be communicated to SNACC members.

The SNACC online Newsletter continues to be published three times a year. Many thanks go out to all the authors, editors and translators who contribute to each Issue in their free time.
In response to feedback from contributors, we have adjusted some of the Newsletter submission deadlines so that they do not overlap with common holiday periods. The submission and publication dates are:
February 15 – Submission deadline
March 15 – Publication date
July 15 – Submission deadline
August 15 – Publication date
November 15 – Submission deadline
December 15 – Publication date
