In addition to my role as an anesthesiologist and an educator, I am passionate about environmental sustainability and have taken the initiative to spearhead and implement a recycling project in our operating rooms. By introducing dedicated bins for paper and plastic recycling and educating the healthcare team on the aggregate effects of sorting clean waste, we have reduced our carbon footprint and promoted responsible waste management practices. I am proud of the meaningful impact of this initiative and look forward to fostering this culture of sustainability among our healthcare team.
