The West Virginia University Department of Anesthesiology has entered a phase of dynamic growth and change under new leadership. Due to expanding services and the opening of new operating rooms, the department is seeking an additional faculty to specialize in Pediatric Anesthesiology.  Applicants must be board eligible/board certified.  Responsibilities include teaching of residents and medical students, patient care and clinical/basic research. 

The Department of Anesthesiology, which has a fully accredited residency program, serves West Virginia University Hospitals, the premier regional referral center for West Virginia and parts of Pennsylvania and Maryland. The institution offers a collaborative professional environment, some of the world's most advanced technology, and highly regarded programs in neurosurgery, pediatric cardiothoracic surgery, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, cancer, and many other fields.
